Description
This group of grasses made me remember the many Thanksgiving days I spent at my Grandmother's home in southeast Missouri. The house would overflow with aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors and the table overflowed with wonderful southern cooked food. Kids were the first to be served and none of us could wait to get their plate and head outdoors to have our Thanksgiving picnic! Fall would still be hanging on and none of us minded the brisk chill in the air. We were all happy to be with our cousins who lived far away. After eating until we hurt, we would play games like Annie, Annie Over, Tug Of War and Hide And Seek.
